The Blog 3 Pack Special is back.

My buddy Mike Paetzold being the patriotic guy that he is has  revived one of his specials.

With next Monday being a holiday Mike wants to share it with you by bringing back a product he did last year.

He did a series of 3 calls on blogging and created a product out of each of them. Each call was transcribed and he added a pdf of the slides he used and a tutorial with screen shots of all of the techniques discussed on the calls.

The topic for the calls were:

  • Keyword Research
  • SEO
  • Monetization

And for this sale Mike is packaging all 3 calls and supporting data for the price of just one of the calls.

I am not sure if you have been on a call Mike but I can tell you he knows his stuff and these calls offer a wealth of information.

If you are interested in any or all three of these calls you will want to pick up the Blog 3 Pack Special. It will be around until next Tuesday at 8am after which the offer will disappear.

A Few Important Aspects of An Affiliate Marketing Strategy

Written by admin on February 4, 2011 – 5:04 PM -

It will probably not be surprising to learn that a winning affiliate marketing strategy involves getting as much traffic (and as much targeted traffic) to your affiliate products as possibly can. And you can start getting enough traffic by choosing a product or service that you can be sure will generate interest and then to convert into sales.

One method for an effective affiliate marketing strategy is making sure that you make use of the merchant’s time and effort that he has put into his or her product or service. If you find an experienced and skilled merchant they will know that the more his or her affiliates are selling, the better chance for them to earn more. That way he or she will continue to test and tweak the product’s or service’s sales page to make it into the most compelling offer possible that will make it hard for people to refuse once they find their page.

Try to find sales pages that are simple and clean, that offer a compelling headline, testimonials and, if possible, even a timer that creates an urgency for people to see how long they have to claim the product or possibly the bonus that comes with it.

After you’ve chosen a product with a proven sales page and conversion rate, you will want to get as much high-quality traffic to the offer as possible. This can be accomplished by directly advertising your affiliate link with PPC (pay-per-click), classified ads, banner ads, etc. Or by setting up a content blog or website that provides valuable information on the niche of the product or service you are selling.

If you are new to this, a blog might be the easiest way to get started and a WordPress blog is often the most highly recommended because it comes with many free plug-ins that will allow you to be more visible to the search engines.

Proper keyword research is an important part of any kind of affiliate marketing plan of action. Once you have chosen the product or service that you want to promote, then you can choose the keywords that you are going to use to get traffic to your link or to your website or blog. Again, being new, you will want to choose less competitive keywords.

Use the Google Adwords Keyword Research Tool (which is free of charge) and type in the general term that describes your product’s niche. This tool can then provide you with all the related search terms that people are actually using when they go to their browser and do a search. The tool will also provide you with general statistics on how often each term is searched, how competitive each term is, what people are bidding on this term in PPC ads, etc.

You can start with lower-searched terms and use these in your blog/website content, or in your direct link advertising methods. As you attract to more visitors, you could then begin using more competitive terms in your affiliate marketing strategy.

4 Tips To Generate Free Web Traffic

Written by admin on April 10, 2010 – 2:23 PM -

It makes no difference whether you are running a business blog or a Clickbank storefront – with either the one thing that all internet marketers need is more internet traffic. For getting more visitors to your website there are a few different options you could use. There are a few of those methods that cost money – commonly called ‘paid web traffic’. However, a number of us are more into getting something for nothing.

Here are a few ways that you might be able to generate some free web traffic.

1. Exchange Content
This can be really effective if you happen to have a blog. When you say you are exchanging content, it means that you are providing content, usually written, for someone’s website and they are doing the same for yours. No big deal here but you are both agreeing that you will post a backlink to each other’s sites.

Exchanging content is easy – you need to contact the site owner and let them know you have a similar site and you would like to exchange some content. Then you will write a good quality article and send it off. It should not take you much time. They will do the same and send it to you. Then you both just need to post each others content onto your respective sites.

2. Exchange Banners
Lots of people are under the impression that banner advertising is dead – due to there being so many other ways that are being used and invented as of late. However, they are still a really good way to attract web traffic. And because it is free it is even better. Start by looking for some websites that might be similar to yours and make contact with the owners and see if you might be able to exchange banners with them.

If they are agreeable you then could make up a banner image that will draw attention and exchange it with them. Make sure you are providing them with the exact URL you want the banner to be linked with. Then you can find a location on your website to show their banner as well.

3. Search Engine Submission
There are a lot of internet users that start their sessions by checking out search engines. So, if you are submitting your site to search engines, you can get a lot more internet traffic. Usually it is free and that will make a big difference. As an example, you are able to submit your website to Google for no charge at all.

4. Directory Submissions
Using web directories is also good, because like search engines they can account for quite a bit of web traffic. Of course they might not be as effective, but you will still get a lot of traffic by submitting to internet directories. There are a lot of free ones and some can be submitted to all at one time.

You should always be trying to get more traffic to your website. Very few can say that they have enough. If you can use as many free methods as you can, it can save you money and you might be able to learn some things to share with others.
